American .30-06 Bore Viewer

This is in used condition and was used to inspect the barrel`s bore, constructed from steel. It works similar to a periscope when tube is inserted into chamber the mirror housed within the unit give a reflection of the bore to the veiwer. Mirror is in good condition.
Possibly WWII issue or earlier a very interesting item for the US militaria collector.
