20mm German Flak Shell Arnhem Recovered

This a fairly unique item this was recovered from the Arnhem area and obtained by myself. I was told and have no reason to question that it was found in a salt water dyke which would explain the corrosion effect which is common with salt water recovered brass. Oddly it still has a mild smell from within the case of almost like like a farm yard?

20mm. MG FF HE 20X80RB Cannon Shell dated 1941

This is a 20mm MG FF cannon shell with a HE high explosive self destructing projectile dated 1941.
The steel case is also dated 1941 again great to get the two to match, the case is in good condition with only one small section of pitting. The projectile has lovely original paint. A nice lean original cannon shell.

MG151/15 Cannon Shell

This is a very fine example of a German WWII Luftwaffe 15mm. Mauser cannon shell for the MG151/15 cannon this was a upgrade from the 13mm cannon however it had a low rate of fire and was eventually upgraded to the 151/20mm cannon shell.
The projectile head is armour piercing tracer. The steel case is dated 1943.

This is a superb condition 20mm. Flak case.
The original laquer finish is in pristine condition and with nice clear head stamps dated 1943.
This was recovered in recent years from a cache of ammunition hidden by the Germans in WWII in Holland
