Princess Mary Christmas Fund Gift Tin, this one is in good condition the original outer laquer finish has been lost over time. It comes complete with the following: British War Medal and Victory Medal both named to:
11022 Pte. L. Scott Hamps. Regt.
Original Memorial Plaque ( Death Penny) also named to Leonard Scott in original card packing piece faint Woolich Acton foundery works stamp on rear. Also included is the Buckingham Palace letter and letter issued with the British War Medal and Victory Medal.
Leonard Scott served with the 2nd Battalion Hampshire Regiment and was killed in action on the 9th August 1916. Remembered with honour at the Potijze Burial Ground Cemetery T.1.
