Princess Mary Christmas Fund Gift Tin 1914 MGC Contents
Princess Mary created an appeal to the public to raise funds to create these tins with gifts to all allied troops on the front.
This particular tin is in very fine condition retaining it original laquer finish inside and out no real major dents or knocks. The tin is complete with the following items:
British War Medal and Victory Medal with ribbons both named to 1333319 Pte. W.W. Cloke M.G.C.both medals in mint condition with bright ribbons.
Two brass MGC shoulder badges complete with mounting pins.
Two Machine Gun Corps Collar badges complete with mounting pins and both marked JR Gaunt London
A silver German WWI ring dated 1914-1916 with imperial cross.
A photograph dated December 9th 1917 Training Reserve, Clipstone Camp Notts.
A lovely Christmas card with message from the front.
