Morris 1" Naval Aiming Practice Round Cut Away

This is a very unusual and possibly rare example of a Morris 1" aiming practice shell. This example has been cut away most likely for instructional purposes of the device. I understand that a tube was inserted into the cannon barrel to reduce calibre to fit this round for cheaper gun training than using full size rounds.
The device was was by a electro firing tool with the primer this is clearly shown and displayed in this cut away training round. The head is lead.
