This is the lightened version which was used on later No4 rifles during WWII and also intended for use on the Jungle Carbine
These guards are milled away by the guard screw point forming a "waist" and have less width on the finger guard
In new condition ideal to upgrade and smarten up any tired looking No4 or restoration
