This particular tin is in fair uncleaned condition a couple of small dents. Some troops carried these on the front line after issue. Internally it retains the nice brass laquer finish.

WWI British Trench Art Horse Shoe

This is a very nice and extremely simple piece of genuine trench art.
A shell driving band has been used to create this horse shoe it has been made using two pieces with both parts riveted together.
