SLR L1A1 Rare Experimental Trial Top Dust cover

These are genuine items and were used in trials at the early stages of the SLR L1A1 being taken into service with the UK.
Someone must have still thought that a top charger clip still needed to be used on one of these and could not get away from the Enfield`s.
They are a very rare and fortunate find a must have for the collector of L1A1 to add to the varied top covers that were produced.
Only the trial cover is for sale the other parts are to demonstrate the differences.
